Jo Prabh ko milbo chahai khoj Shabad meh leh.

About this shabad

The Dohra sung at the close of every Ardas — the Guru's own instruction on where to look for God: not in a place, but inside the Shabad.

Composed by Traditional — attributed to the Rehatnama tradition in Dohra (Panth Prakash, Giani Gian Singh). MedRise Gurbani presents it in a gentle, meditative arrangement so the words stay in front — sung for listeners who want to understand as they listen.

When to listen

A prayer for seeking, devotion and finding the Divine. Play it in the morning before the day begins, or whenever the situation it speaks to is on your mind. Reading the meaning first turns listening into simran.
