A one-page reference for journalists, bookers, playlist curators and collaborators: who MedRise Gurbani is, the discography so far, downloadable cover art, and how to get in touch.
MedRise Gurbani records Shabad Kirtan for people who want to understand what they are singing — each release paired with its full Gurmukhi text, a transliteration, and a plain-English meaning.
MedRise Gurbani is a growing series of Shabad Kirtan recordings, each chosen for a real moment people live through — fear before a new beginning, the weight of debt, a mind that will not settle, a night of studying, grief, or the need to be reminded that they are held. Every release is published with its complete Gurmukhi lyrics, a Roman transliteration to sing along with, and a line-by-line English meaning, so the words are never just background — they can be understood, carried, and returned to.
Gurbani is quoted from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Sri Dasam Granth Sahib. Recordings are distributed to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Deezer and TIDAL via DistroKid, with select releases also available in Spanish translation.
MedRise Gurbani began releasing music in 2026 and has since put out 8 shabads, each with a dedicated page of lyrics, meaning and FAQ on this site. The project also runs daily Gurbani content on Instagram (@medrise_gurbani), Facebook (MedRise-Gurbani) and TikTok.
